Day 2
Today we got up at 6 a.m. and had a good breakfast. Then we traveled 120 km by bus from Chengdu to Leshan.
Another good breakfast, so much food

Here we took a boat out to the Giant Buddha, which is 71 meters high. We also walked up to the statue. It was packed with people. The sun was beating down. The temperature was 27 degrees Celsius. But it was an experience to see the Giant Buddha, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. We had a really good lunch there. Late in the afternoon, we drove for an hour to a new city, Emei Shan City. We stayed at the Century Sunshine Hotel, a really luxurious hotel. Tomorrow we will leave early at 6 a.m. and visit Mount Emei.
