Nanjing

DAY 9

We flew two hours from Taiyuan to Nanjing, a city with a population of 9.5 million. It is a very high-tech, modern city. We visited Qixia Temple, Nanjing's most important Buddhist temple.

In the evening, we visited the pedestrian street Gongyuan Street, a lively street with lots of lights and countless restaurants, shops of all kinds, selling stone balls, among other things, lots of them.
